When will these side effects stop?
I weaned myself of Paxil, slowly, hoping to avoid a lot of side effects going off it. I have not taken any for 3 weeks now. When will these side effects go away? I feel nauseous, lightheaded, ringing in my ears, racing heartbeats at times, and the worst is the night sweats/chills.
Three weeks of physical withdrawal makes me wonder how long you have been taking Paxil, and how much you’ve been taking. Did your doctor take you off of it?
Personally, if a doctor prescribes a potentially addictive drug for me, I follow the dosage and work with her to wind down usage.
The symptoms you describe sound pretty severe and certainly warrant a visit to your doctor, who can recommend an appropriate treatment.
